Optimizing Indoor Cellular Coverage & Performance
Radiant Networks provides turnkey indoor cellular solutions that guarantees optimal 4G/5G voice and data coverage throughout the desired areas of your building or facility. We offer a full line of cellular repeaters to enhance both existing 4G and upcoming 5G cellular signals. Our industry leading design & deployment experience. Application performance in all bands of 5G is paramount in achieving the optimal mobility experience. We design systems to provide coverage in building from 10,000 sq. ft. to over 1,000,000 in size.
6-Point Path to Success

Site Assessment
Our engineers will conduct a thorough site assessment that will provide all carrier specifics for enhancing the cell coverage in your environment. This phase is most critical in determining the final design and associated costs for the project.
Systems Design & Proposal
Radiant will provide a complete system design document accompanied by a proposal for a turn-key or hybrid installation to achieve the common goals.

Installation & Commissioning
We have been performing installations of active and passive DAS Systems for over 17 years, so we know how to “Make it Happen”.
Carrier Coordination
Our long-term relationship with the major carriers is a plus when either registering your system with the FCC or coordination of frequency use of an active DAS system. This not only helps our client but assists the carriers in know what systems are present in order for them to manage the macro environment.

Post Install Validation & Day 2 Support
Included with every deployment is a validation of the deployment from an installation and RF sampling perspective. Before and after scans of the bands being covered is another step in our bullet-proof process. Our remote monitoring tools allows us to be pro-active in detecting and mitigating any impacts to the environment. Our on-going affordable maintenance plans provide a real-time view into your deployment is a first in the industry.
Decommissioning Legacy Systems
This is one of the most common oversights now that 3G has been shutdown nationwide in the US. Leaving old 3G gear active and powered up is problematic. Radiant will do a comprehensive assess and removal of older technology. Decommissioning older DAS systems that support 2 & 3G is important when moving to 4 & 5G infrastructure. Having signals from obsolete systems removed ensures there is no unwanted cellular signals in your environment.

Educational information

What is Indoor Cellular DAS?
A cellular distributed antenna system (DAS), also known as an in-building repeater system, is a way to enhance 4 & 5G coverage inside a facility with poor cellular reception. Radiant can provide a solution by designing and installing a network of cellular enabled antennas to serve as RF signal repeaters. These antennas are physically connected to a network of amplifiers that ultimately re-broadcast cellular signals from the network of cell enabled towers leased and owned by the cellular providers.
What is 4G & 5G?
Fourth Generation (4G) and Fifth Generation (5G) are the latest RF technologies provided by the cell carriers to further high-speed access and throughput across the cellular spectrums from all carriers. With 4G providing up to 1 gigabit of throughput and 5G providing up to 20 gigabits of service provides for true video streaming and bandwidth hungry applications.

Advantages of Enhanced Indoor Cellular Coverage
Inadequate cellular connectivity is a problem inside many commercial buildings. Often, service disruption is due to construction and higher frequencies required for 4 & 5G to achieve the network speeds they offer. A cellular distributed antenna system (DAS) is an optimal solution to improve the wireless connectivity inside your location, where an outdoor signal can be obtained by what we refer to as a ‘donor antenna’.

Contiguous Connections
A cellular DAS is an in-building wireless system that helps boost cellular reception inside a structure using a network of small antennas. A constant robust signal is paramount for seamless cell connectivity.
Coverage
Because the antennas of a cellular DAS function inside a facility, technicians install them in precise locations determined by the initial survey/design. This practice allows the system to distribute robust and continuous coverage to the entire building, including areas where the signal degrades due to building material and other materials that affect the signal.

Network Efficiency
With the emergence of 5G in the low & mid bands, network speed of up to 20 gigabits is possible.
Multi- Carrier Access
Every design should take into consideration that all carriers present in the area are accounted for. This allows users to choose their prover of choice for cellular access. Our vendor neutral implementations include all carriers servicing the particular location.

Network Security
Many Wi-Fi networks only provide a PSK which is many instances is not secure. The underlying secure protocols within 4G/5G make indoor cellular an attractive option for many.
